Slow down the vehicles in Suisun City

By From page A11 | December 19, 2013

This is a concern that seems to be ignored by the city management.

Main Street in Suisun City has turned into a speed zone. Now, I appreciate that the officers are unable to be everywhere all the time, but it doesn’t change the fact that cars are flying down our street and this has all started happening since September.

There is a speed bump down by the Veterans Memorial Building and it works. Drivers are forced to slow down or bottom out their cars. I know speed bumps are not the most attractive, but I as well as my neighbors are tired of jumping out of the way, getting our side mirrors broken and cars sideswiped.

So, this goes out to Mayor Pete Sanchez : How about doing what the people paying your salary ask you to do for our safety?

Good luck with that Mr. Thomas. There is no relief in sight for the huge number of traffic violations occurring here. I've driven locally and cross country enough to inform you that we aint alone!

Hope and change, Mr Thomas. You've got the hope and Pete will take your change (and your foldin' money too).
