I wish pet lovers would realize that there is a code which requires them to pick up behind their pets when walking them in public park, on streets, etc. – it’s called a pooper scooper law.
I was very proud of my daughter when walking Mike, our “Rotti,” with her friend, when after less than 30 minutes they returned to get plastic grocery bags. I asked, “What’s the rush?” She said Mike made a “messy mess” up the street and they need to clean up behind him.
It made me glow inside that she not only displayed citizenship, but maturity and responsibility. She has been that way since the age of 4 as a Brownie Scout, from preschool through out college.
Yes, kids are cute, but parents should be aware ignorance and poor parenting lead to juvenile delinquency. Adults are just as expected to adhere to this law. So please think of it this way: Would you want to track that into your house or car?
