Not du Bain

The district attorney is the county’s top law-enforcement officer. The person in this position should have a strong moral compass. That’s why I was appalled to receive the latest campaign mailer from Don du Bain.

Du Bain criticizes Abrams for having a Davis residence yet he has a residence in San Francisco. If hypocrisy wasn’t bad enough, du Bain questions Abrams’ character and suggests she will go easy on defense attorneys. This is absurd on its face.

Did du Bain feel this way when he put Abrams on the toughest cases? Did he feel this way when he nominated Abrams for prosecutor of the year? Did he feel this way when Abrams bested these defense attorneys and secured convictions for him?

Du Bain is playing politics and showing he will say and do anything to get re-elected. That includes mentioning Abrams’ son and the city he attends school in for political gain.

No thanks, Mr. Du Bain. I like my district attorney to have morals and integrity. I’ll be voting for Abrams for district attorney on June 3.

I can't believe I agree with the rat leaders around here on this race. Politics makes for strange bedfellows...Machiavelli, I read your book!

I, like Kirstin Sorensen, have already made up my mind for whom I wish to see occupy the office of D.A. for the next 4 years. Like her, it didn't take a mailer to convince me. I have already cast my vote. In my case, for the only worthwhile candidate in the race - Solano County's own - District Attorney Donald DuBain! Vote DuBain on June 3rd; let's keep Solano County honest

My, friends and I will also be endorsing Abhams. The tactics Dubain is showing us we are losing respect.
