No more turkeys in Vacaville

I, and most of my neighbors here in Leisure Town, are totally against raising chickens within the city limits of Vacaville.

They are filthy, noisy and a real nuisance to the community. They attract predators and spread their manure in a very careless and impolite manner. However, they do taste good in a homemade stew.

We certainly do not need anymore poultry here in Leisure Town; we have enough turkeys in the boardroom.

"They are filthy, noisy and a real nuisance to the community. They attract predators and spread their manure in a very careless and impolite manner." Sounds like Harry is pretty much describing dogs in Vacaville, too. The good thing about turkeys is they don't bark all night. Can't say that for your freakin' dogs.

Mr. Short obviously hasn't read the letter from Mr. Power.

Mr Short does not and never has spoken for the Community of Leisure Town. He seems to view himself as a self appointed reporter of the news, but only how he sees it. To refer the the Leisure a Town Board members as Turkey's is a more clear statement of Mr Shorts lack of respect for others. I can attest that Harry has not attended a Board meeting since the Board majority was replaced not in his favor. He resigned from any participation in Leisure Town activities over a year ago. So who is the chicken and/or turkey after all. Ken Stockton 1st VP LTHA Board of Directors

People and their animals around here are a real nuisance. Loose pitbulls, roosters, exotic pets that are horrible, feral cats, and their irresponsible owners all need to go.

Because, like the DR the VV Reporter is probably bias and only runs opinions or stories by those who they favor or support.
