Money owed should be money paid

Our veterans have been bounced back and forth from clinics to the hospitals and back again, while the VA has stonewalled treatment for some unfortunate veterans, and given unqualified treatment to others with so-called counselors and other doctor-type personnel with other titles where a medical doctor title should be, but sometimes does not exist.

These veterans under this administration who have given their all for this country time and again, have sat by through fundraiser after fundraiser while Democratic jet-setting seems to be the norm these days and service to them has been lax and strained, to say the least.

So what about the money owed for back pay to those veterans who have been waiting for sometimes years for money they rightfully deserve and have coming to them? Veterans Affairs does not mention that either, nor does our president.

I wonder why. Don’t you?

Al, that's right blame the president. When you awaken from your stupor, check out the GOP failure to pass the legislation.

I have no idea what the writer is talking about when it comes to back pay. Last year when my disability rating was revised upward, I did get back pay for the time it took me to get it. If he is talking about getting appointments at the VA clinic, then where is it written that you get back pay for late appointments? As for CD and Jag, the budget for the VA has tripled over the past few years, and sorry to break it to you, that means the Republicans have been passing the legislation. Where and how the money has been spent is another question.
