I wonder if the retired military people who write to this paper realize how ridiculous their pitch against the Affordable Care Act appears.
They have their own government care plan, but want to deny other citizens something not even comparable? Some of these retirees even have another entire career after their service, for which they get benefits. Yes, they did us a great service because they chose to do so.
Why deny the rest of us citizens a chance at better health care? The uninsured end up suffering and the rest of us pay for their care indirectly.
This is illogical.
