Incumbent Supervisor Jim Spering has 20 years as Suisun City mayor and eight years as Solano County supervisor. That is 28 years of feeding from the public trough, and yet Suisun City and the county still lead the Bay Area in unemployment.

Michael Oman has a plan at www.OmanPlan.com to reverse this tragedy.

The incumbent has a loser plan (even the consultant agreed) called Solano360 that will cost the taxpayers $94 million and growing to develop the fairgrounds.

Oman has a plan that would produce jobs, develop the fairgrounds, but not require the waste of $94 million local taxpayer dollars as private money would be used.

The incumbent likes to be called, “Mr. Transportation.” If that is so, why are the roads in Suisun City real bad and the county roads are no better?

Fairfield City Councilwoman Pam Bertani claims she wants to fight crime, but can’t even stop crime in Parkway Gardens, much less Fairfield.

Oman will reduce crime by promoting job opportunities, oppose Plan Bay Area, which takes away opportunities from the public and reduces public quality of life, and not help his own pocketbook as with the other candidates.

For real change for the better, not just promises, vote for Michael Oman. He is the only thinking candidate with real new ideas.

George Guynn Jr.

George Guynn supporting Oman? Because he has new ideas? Like writing the Lt. Gov and asking him to extend BART to Vallejo. That would require a 2/3 vote of the State Legislature and approval of the residents of Alameda, San Francisco, and Contra Costa Counties who have been paying for BART for 50 years. Ain't gonna happen. Oman might has well have written Santa Claus. New ideas? No. Stupid ideas. Just stupid. We aren't even talking about the hair brained scheme to put assisted living on top of the mall in Fairfield. Stupid would be a kind word for that one.

Guynn has a long history of supporting losers. Unlike Bertani, Oman does have vision. It's just not a vision that will work on this planet. Spering will win by a wide margin.

Steve. It's Michael Oman. I appreciate your skepticism about BART and the Sr Assisted Living plans I propose at OmanPlan.com. However consider these points. A Legislative 2/3rd vote & the approval of other counties is quite possible when you consider the economic benefits to everyone in the Bay Area. Likewise, the assisted living plan for the Solano Mall is viable and is being explored by other Malls nation-wide. If you understand "air-space" development, you will realize that "super-structure construction" is a viable plan to create mixed-use development. I appreciate your thoughts and welcome any ideas at [email protected] Thank you, Michael Oman
