What a sad day in California.
“No longer are undocumented people in the shadows,” Gov. Jerry Brown said as he signed the bill to give illegal migrants driver’s licenses. “They are alive and well and respected in the state of California.”
Please remember, these people are not immigrants or undocumented – they are people who came to California illegally and are still here illegally.
Our two U.S. senators and Gov. Brown must have had a great party to celebrate the coming of many new votes. All the new illegal migrants will vote for them. And the money will flow from corporations with new campaign money.
Why? Free health care at hospitals, at a cost of more than $1 billion. Their illegal children get a free education through high school and then half the cost for college, at a cost of several billion dollars. Of those who are on welfare, the cost is unknown. My granddaughter can’t get a grant to go to college because of the cost, but if she were here illegally, she could.
The illegal migrants who are here is one of the reasons the state is broke. Thanks to Gov. Brown and our two senators.
