It’s like AIDS all over again

By From page A8 | August 24, 2014

So now that the first Ebola patients have arrived on United States soil, I ask the question – is this the beginning of what our involvement of this disease in America will be? Just like the AIDS virus decades ago, which I might add is still not cured and is still contagious, no one is trying to confine those people from the general, uninfected U.S. public.

Why is that, folks?

Think real hard because you know the answer and are just afraid to say it. So how many of you or your friends will be infected while our government turns a blind eye to this disaster while we bring those people over here to expose us all to this dreaded disease? Good job, once again.

Al Losado

"Think real hard because you know the answer and are just afraid to say it." I'm not following this statement Al. The "people" you refer to are U S citizens affected with a disease. Your comparison to AIDs shows a lack of understanding of that condition. Al, I don't know the answer.

Government should put these AIDS folks in camps away from everybody! Yes sir, that's what we should do.

Someone tell this moron not to have sex with an ebola patient since it seems to think AIDS can be contracted the same as ebola. This letter screams bigotry much more than any actual concern for ebola or health.
