I support Garamendi

My vote goes whole-heartedly for Rep. John Garamendi’s re-election.

I have had the pleasure of working with his office on a military matter in the past and have found his staff to be the utmost professional, accommodating, knowledgeable and investigative in handling matters that most of us civilians do not understand or know about.

I had sent an email through his website and was contacted the next day. After the situation had been explained, they immediately got on top of it and kept me informed of the status. Since Garamendi is a member of the Armed Services Committee, he genuinely is concerned about his constituents and Travis Air Force Base.

I have a deep respect for Garamendi and his staff. There are not many staffers in his Fairfield office, but the ones he does have are the greatest to work with.

Please re-elect him. Our city needs him in office to be the voice of his people who depend on him to do his job; and he does it well.

Garamendi can't save Travis. He doesn't have the gravitas or sway to keep it open. Since he's sits on Armed Services, we vets would like to know when he will get Hagel and Shenseki under control because their departments are on the front page of the newspaper everyday in the pejorative.

Rich, the longevity of Travis AFB, is based upon the mission of the base. If Scott AFB decides to change the mission of Travis the city of Fairfield, Suisun, Vacaville, are Garamendi cannot save it from being closed. Shenseki is not the immediate problem, the staff of those facilities need to be investigated and fix the problems now. The water issue is a state problem between the northern portion, the middle, and southern portion of the state, this been going on for years.

I've heard a lot of talk about how good this guy is, but I've never heard his opinion on the delta fiasco going on. If he is our voice you would think some mention would have been made, or is this because he doesn't live in this area and we are being represented by a man who has no real knowledge of our needs?
