Born This Way Foundation deserves your support

By From page A8 | December 11, 2012

There are too many people in today’s society who are afraid to be seen as different in the eyes of others. They are afraid that if they are seen this way, they will be ridiculed. We should live in a society where people are not afraid to be who they are.

The Born This Way Foundation, led by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germonotta, is committed to creating a safer, more accepting and braver society. I ask you to help support this great organization. In order to get their message around the United States and the world, they need financial support and your help spreading the word.

The BTWF provides a safe place where people can go to get help with self-esteem issues and provides a place where they can see it is acceptable to express oneself freely. The foundation is also committed to creating a new and empowered society that will not be accepting of any discrimination whatsoever. The Born This Way Foundation is a great place to find information about social activities that will help unite local communities. There are also links to hotlines that can be called if one needs immediate assistance with life’s troubles.

I believe the BTWF has the ability and a plausible plan to change society for the better, but it cannot do it alone. To help, you can give a donation or find out other ways you can get involved by going to its website (www.bornthiswayfoundation.org). They need our help to ensure that we live in a safe, empowered and brave society. You do not have to give money to help! Simply spreading the word and promoting the mission statement of the foundation is a tremendous help.

For general inquiries about the organization, you can contact a representative through the website.
