In this day of coupons, in-store “specials” and most of all bait and switch, grocery stores are the worst.
Potato chips have a big sign for $1.99. Oops – if you buy three bags! C’mon, man. And you wonder why Americans are fat and broke? Corn is 5 for $1, but you get there and they are out or what’s left is not fit for human consumption.
I go out to the local produce complex and there’s higher prices than the grocery stores and bad produce to boot. I am not sure the high school help even knows the real price of 50-plus items. You ever check your receipt? Nothing but numbers, no item descriptions.
Don’t get me started with car dealers. They should be ashamed of themselves. Let’s throw in airline tickets – no two are the same price. Want a reality check? Ask the oversized person eating a bag of chips how much they paid.
Do we have time for our Republican friends who want to ruin this country because they have “rigged” the voters in their district? So who cares?
It reminds me of how our City Council decided to change the voting dates in their favor, just because they could do it without taking it to the voters. Well, the backdoor Republican tactics will no longer be the nom. Time is running out on those scoundrels. Just watch/read/listen to these “career” council members.
Time for a change.
