Doesn’t Congress seem to be like a bunch of little kids playing marbles, even though it seems both sides have lost their marbles at this point? One side says if you don’t do it our way then we’ll take our marbles and go home.
It would seem Congress forgets who elected them to take care of business and at this point none of them seem to be doing what they were hired for.
Congress, in case you’ve forgotten, was created to represent all the people of America – not just the rich or the poor, but everyone. There is no give on either part; several people are in line for a whole bunch of hurt, because you knuckleheads want to argue and not compromise.
Recently, one of California’s state senators stepped down to work for an oil company; he just left his people high and dry, because, as usual, he was self-serving. With the price of gas going back up again and again whenever they want, one wonders why price-gouging isn’t against the law. Hey, wait a minute. It is! So why isn’t Congress taking care of business in protecting the people of the U.S. as they are supposed to do and stop the blasted arguing over the budget?
Besides, when deep pockets were done away with, that meant big business was to stop putting their hands in your pockets.
Judas sold out Christ for 30 pieces of silver. How much is Congress trying to sell the people of the United States for?
