April 4, 1932 — Oct. 31, 2012

Woody Lee Dickinson died on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. He passed after battling multiple health issues for many years. He was 80 years old.

Woody lived in the Fairfield/Vacaville area since the 1950s. He attended church locally, worked and owned a business, belonged to the Moose Lodge and had many friends in the area. Woody was a pilot, an avid fisherman, and loved music and singing.

Woody is survived by his four children, Terry Dickinson, Lesa Dugan, Scott Dickinson, Ellen Davis; 14 grandchildren; and brothers, Rhettus and Hugh Dickinson and sister, Fleeta Restine.

A visitation will be held for Woody from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, at which time friends are invited to join the family as we laugh and cry and say goodbye. There will be a private burial on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the Golden Gate National Cemetery.
