Dec. 11, 1934 – Sept. 3, 2013

Willis Lee Lindauer went to his final rest on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013. Lindy was born on Dec. 11, 1934, in Manito, Ill., to Benjamin and Irene Lindauer. He joined the military in 1954. While stationed in Japan, Lindy met his life-long love Shigeko (Mickey). They were married in 1957.

In 1976, while stationed at Travis AFB, he decided to retire after 22 years of service. He and Mickey settled in Suisun to raise their four children. He retired from Shell Oil Refinery in 1996. After retirement, Lindy enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Willis is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Shigeko. He also leaves behind his children, David, William (Debbie), Cathleen King and Julie (Jon) Berginnis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aidan and Alex, Shane, Thomas, Stephanie, and Matt; and his great-granddaughters, Heavan and Micha.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Donald and Robert.

At his request, no funeral services will be held. This amazing husband and father will be missed by all who knew him.
