Virginia Dell Klein, 93, entered into rest on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, in Vacaville.
She was born in Great Bend, Kan., on Jan. 15, 1920, to Mabel and Rex Cochran. Married in 1943 to Walter C. Klein, together they became successful business people and entrepreneurs in both Walnut Creek and Fairfield.
Virginia was an accomplished amateur painter, an avid traveler, enthusiastic gardener and keen reader, but mainly, she loved people.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Betty Cochran Bryan of Vacaville; her beloved daughter-in-law, Paula Klein of Rio Rico, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Klein; her twin daughters, Jeanice Mae Dalton and Jeanine Marie Pereira; her son, James Keith Klein; and two brothers and a sister.
Virginia will be buried with her husband, alongside her mother, in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. The graveside service will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Merrill Gardens, 799 Yellowstone Drive, Vacaville. Please come with stories and remembrances.
