April 14, 1941 – Aug. 20, 2014

Paul Nolin, 73, passed away on Aug. 20, 2014, surrounded by family at his home in Fairfield. Paul was born in Montreal, Canada, on April 14, 1941, to Andre and Mary Nolin.

He married Ann Valentine in 1964. Paul entered the United States Air Force and served for 25 years, obtaining the rank of Chief Master Sergeant as an academic instructor. Upon retirement, he spent 10 years as a NCOA life insurance agent.

Paul loved traveling, golf, collecting coins, friendships and the camaraderie of people he met along the way. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Ann, of Fairfield; daughter and life partner, Cathy and Barbara, of San Diego; three grandchildren, Jake, Maya and Malachi.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Fairfield. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Food for the Poor or Our Lady of Mt. Carmel building fund.
