Paul Macahig Lucero, 74, a cook in the US Navy where he served for 22 years, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield. He lived in Suisun City for 30 years, and was previously from the Philippine Islands.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Monica; one daughter, Marissa Lucero; and one son, Ramon Lucero. He is also survived by two grandsons, Traugott and Antonio.

Visitation will be held at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, from 5 to 9 p.m., with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at 10 a.m., Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment with full military honors will follow at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon.
