Nettie Beals

April 1, 1922 – June 13, 2014

Nettie Verlyn Beals passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield.

Nettie was born April 1, 1922, in Oklahoma to Jessee James and Gertrude Heffington.

She was a hairdresser for many years, an avid gardener, painter and music lover. She was also an adoring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to a large and loving family.

Nettie is survived by her son, Michael (Kiki) Williamson; her daughter, Patricia Cameron; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; five brothers and her beloved husband, CMSGT Oliver P. Beals (ret.).

Friends are invited to attend a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. June 19, 2014, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield, Calif. 94533. Interment to follow in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery, 1707 Union Ave., Fairfield, Calif. 94533.
