Mary miller

Sept. 24, 1921 — March 6, 2014

Elizabeth was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Marion, Ill., she was the youngest of five children born to Robert and Myrtle Corder. When she was 3, her father was fatally burned in a mine explosion. The family relocated in Decatur, Ill., where they lived for 11 years. In 1936, a move was made to San Diego. Elizabeth finished high school there and worked in the personnel department of the city of San Diego until her marriage.

In 1951, she married Trevilyn K. Miller, who worked for General Dynamics. In 1953, he was transferred to the new plant in Pomona, Calif., and they made their home in Upland, Calif. Elizabeth worked for the local hospital as an insurance billing supervisor until retirement and their move to Suisun City. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband.

She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, T.R. and Gerry Miller; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday March 21, 2014, at the Church of Christ, 2200 Fairfield Ave., Fairfield, Calif., 94533.
