Mary Edwards

Mary Elizabeth Silldorff Edwards, 90, died Jan. 21, 2013, at Rosewood Nursing Home in East Peoria, Ill.

Mary worked as a registered nurse for many years in Fairfield, and was a longtime resident of Fairfield and Vacaville. She was also active in the Community United Methodist Church and, later, the Fairfield Presbyterian Church.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Marilee Urban, of Elgin, Ore., and Janis Edwards of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; son-in-law, Ernest Urban; grandson, John J. Urban, of Rocklin; and many beloved nieces and nephew.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Phillip Sheridan Edwards; a sister, Margaret Bavis; and a brother, Chester Silldorff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heifer Project.

    So sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your mother was such a wonderful women and I have fond memories with your family. I wish we had stayed in contact over the years, think about you often. Pam

    So sorry to hear of your mom passing. She was such a nice lady. I met her when she lived on Minnasota St. She was also working when I had my son, when I woke up she had made a little pair of booties for him and also when I had my daughter,I never forgot that and I often think of her and never know where she lived. I know she's in heaven taking care of others. Shirley
