Marjorie Lee Myrick, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield.
Marjorie was born Nov. 6, 1939, in Moody, Mo., to Gordon and Carrie Woosley. On Sept. 22, 1962, she was united in marriage to Joseph W. Myrick in Lynnwood, Wash.
Marjorie worked as a retail clerk for more than 18 years and was a member of the executive board of Union Local 373 for several terms. She enjoyed shopping for clothes and taking trips to the local casinos, but her greatest pleasure was seeing her grandchildren and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph, of Suisun City; son, Dustin; daughters, Dewilla Sylwesiuk and Carrie Myrick, of Fairfield, and Elizabeth Myrick and her companion Rudy Ramirez, of Suisun City; grandsons, Garrett, Joseph and Eddie; granddaughter, Nicole; great-granddaughter, Chloe; and sister, Nellie Crouch.
Friends are invited to attend the visitation from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield, and are also invited to attend the committal service at 1:30 p.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Calif.
