Marianne “Trisha” David, a resident of Fairfield and a San Francisco native, passed away on Jan. 29, 2013. She was 53.

Trisha was very proud of being an “Air Force wife” and took great pride in raising their son and keeping her family strong during her husband’s numerous deployments. She was a career woman, working both as a certified nursing assistant at David Grant Medical Center and at the Solano County Afterhours and most recently she was an administrative assistant at the Solano County Jail. Trisha passes on to us examples of love, wholeheartedness, and compassion that will always be remembered.

Trisha is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jeff; her son, Jeff Jr.; her newly beloved puppy, Rupert; her mother, Marietta; her brothers, Leonard, Glenn and Edward. She is further survived by a very loving family and devoted friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend Trisha’s visitation services at 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, and Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Fairfield Funeral Home, 1750 Pennsylvania Ave. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, also at Fairfield Funeral Home. A reception at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2200 Gateway Court, Fairfield, will follow the funeral service.

Interment will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fairfield Funeral Home, 707-425-1041.

Trisha was the kind of woman that made you feel special any time she spoke with you. She didn't judge and was kind and compassionate with all she came in contact with. She was just too good to stay here very long, but she will be missed. While we are mourning our loss, there are others who are rejoicing to meet her beyond the veil.
