Lydia Gonzalez Jodikinos, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday March 4, 2013. She is now in His loving arms.
Lydia was born Jan. 6, 1951, in Bronx, NY, to Blas and Laura Gonzalez. She married Bill Jodikinos Dec. 4, 1971. We have been privileged to call her wife, mother, sister, and friend. We are honored to be the recipients of such amazing, abundant, and sacrificial love.
She was a faithful member of (HICF) Highway International Christian Fellowship in Fairfield, where she lovingly taught the AWANA Cubbies and facilitated a women’s discipleship group.
Lydia was very gifted in working with her hands. She handcrafted many quilts, created beautiful pieces of jewelry, sewed clothes, curtains, bedding and more. All were made to the glory and honor of God, in service to others, as her true joy in life was her relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her adoring husband of 41 years, Bill Jodikinos of Suisun City; her four daughters, and sons-in-law, Victoria and David, Sonya and Rich, Virginia and Cris, Anita and Jeremiah; 10 grandchildren; her three brothers and sister, Henry, Blas, Hector, Laura, and their families.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday March 7, 2013, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home Chapel, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield, with Patrick Serna officiating. A reception will follow at HICF, 1319A W. Texas St., Fairfield.
