Luis Enrique Cerna died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at age 48.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1964, in Chapultapec, Mexico City, Mexico, to Antonio Cerna and Margarita Luna.
He worked at Corey Delta Construction as a project manager/estimator. He loved music and enjoyed karaoke, fishing, singing, traveling, going to casinos and joking around with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Cerna; daughter, Laura Iberia Cerna; son, Luis E. Cerna Jr.; brothers, sisters and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Graciela Cerna; brother, Francisco Cerna; granddaughter Faralynn Phelps and grandson Adrian Phelps.
Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St. in Fairfield. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1791 Marshall Road, Vacaville, followed by burial at Rockville Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Luis E. Cerna Memorial at Travis Credit Union.

I first met Luis in the early 90s, He always had a smile on his face an was easy going.He was a pleasure to work with an work for.He will be greatly missed at Corey,an by the people in the field.
