Louis Leon Fleming Jr. was born July 11, 1948, in Los Angeles, the first son of Louis L. and Charleene Fleming. His passing was on Sept. 29, 2013, at his home in Fairfield.
He was employed for the past 25 years at Kaiser Air in Oakland. His leisure time was spent boating, camping, traveling and photographing the beauty and memories found in his travels and family events.
He will be missed greatly by his best friend and wife, Carolyn Michaud Fleming. He is survived by brothers, Charles and David Fleming; sisters, Carol Carter and Brenda Jones; sons Louis III, Michael and Eric; and daughter, Mikki Hermosillo, all residents of California. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren, David, Ashley, Mellanie, Melissa, Moises, Ruben, Katlyn, Elsie, Adam and Gabriel Fleming, Josiah and Amani Hermosillo; and one great-granddaughter, Emily Gomez.
Louis was preceded in death by Sharon Fleming, the mother of his children, and parents, Louis Sr. and Lucille Fleming.
A memorial of his life will take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 26 at Bryan Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield, Calif.
