April 15, 1929 — March 5, 2014

Lois Ann Miller, age 84, a longtime resident of Suisun City, passed away March 5, 2014, at Lone Tree Convalescent Hospital.

She was born April 15, 1929, in Princeton, Minn., to Mildred and Ephraim Anderson. She married John Rice in 1949 and raised two beautiful girls, Shirley and Carol. After John’s death in 1970, Lois remarried Duane Miller in 1972. Together, they joined two families and created loving memories.

Lois loved baking and the fragrant aromas of pies and cookies could be smelled when walking into her home. Lois loved singing, dancing, sewing, camping and traveling. Her warm smile and welcoming nature made anyone in her life feel loved.

Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, John and Duane; and daughter, Carol. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Michael Adams; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought great joy to her life.

A memorial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Community United Methodist Church, 1875 Fairfield Ave., Fairfield, Calif., 94533.
