Judith Brooks

Nov. 26, 1948 — April 21, 2014

Judy passed away peacefully Monday, April 21, 2014.

She was born in Hays, Kan., the second of nine children growing up on the family farm before coming to California.

Judy worked for the Fairfield-Suisun School District as a volunteer for many years, finishing her career in the purchasing department. She loved to garden, read, take long walks and spend time with her family. There was never a family get-together that she didn’t bring a plate of her creative brownies.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Eric; son, Eric (Edna); daughter, Meagan (Joe); grandchildren, Evan and Bailey; and mother, Arnita. She also leaves behind eight brothers and sisters, along with her many in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her infant son, Evan; and her father, Seraphine Scheck.

Judy was a great wife and mother. She was a warm and loving genuinely good person. We were lucky to have her in our lives we will all miss her dearly. RIP Judy, we love you.

There will be no services, upon her request. The family will have a private celebration of her life.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in her name to NorthBay Adult Day Center, 1020 Nut Tree Road, Vacaville, CA 95687.

Arrangements under the care of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., CA 94533, 707-425-4697.
