April 29, 1954 — March 1, 2013

Joseph “Joe” Rene Levigne Jr., 58, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2013, with his son and daughter by his side. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was a resident of Solano County for 56 years. Joe was an avid Raiders fan, loved to cook, and enjoyed listening to his eclectic collection of music. Most of all, he loved his family and he will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Levigne; son, Joseph Levigne III; and daughter, Stella Levigne-Vanasse; and his grandchildren, Adrian Levigne, Shylah Vanasse and Roman Vanasse. He was preceded in death by his mothers, Evangelina (Rodriguez) Levigne and Mary Levigne; and his father, Joseph Levigne Sr.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas Street, Fairfield. A burial will follow at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon.
