Joey Myers

Feb. 13, 1998 – Aug. 12, 2014

Our beloved Joseph Kenneth Meyers entered into God’s embrace on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014.

His loving spirit and enthusiastic lifestyle will forever be etched in our hearts. Joey was known by all at the local Vacaville skate park for his amazing ability to ride the bowls. Our boy always had a smile on his face and was constantly surrounded by a large group of family and friends. His older brother Jake looked up to him as being one of the most talented, fearless and humble people in his life. Joey enjoyed each day dirt bike riding, mountain biking, snowboarding, riding his scooter, giving his amazing hugs and always caring for others.

Joey was born Feb. 13, 1998, and was entering his junior year at Vacaville High School.

Joey is now an angel who will be watching over his loving parents, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Harvest Church, 310 Parker St., Vacaville. Please join us after the celebration of life to continue sharing our memories of Joey and bring your favorite dish to share. Details on the location will be announced during the service at Harvest Church.

It’s Joey’s wish for us to reach “Our pursuit of happiness.”
