He is survived by his longtime partner, Carla Kolbert of Suisun City, Calif.; sisters, Wanda Rooney of Fairfield, Calif., and Lola Self, of Bristow, Okla.; brothers, Andy Golden (wife Nyla) of Reno, Nev., Gary Golden (wife Sally) of Fairfield, Calif., and Larry Golden (wife Carol) of Esparto, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jasper Anderson Golden; and his beloved mother, Martha Elizabeth Golden.

Danny Golden was a wonderful friend. I have known him many years and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His older sister Wanda Rooney and I are as close as family. She took it hard Danny, we all love you.

Would you be so kind as to let me know if this is the Danny Golden who lived in Japan at Grant Heights AFB? His eyes look like him, but it was the early 60's. I remember him as my first very sweet first boyfriend! So Sorry for your loss. Terry Murphy 415-529-2829
