Aug. 17, 1936 — July 28, 2014

Jeanetta M. Hale passed away Monday at her home in Benicia, Calif,. following a long illness. She was born in Sapulpa, Okla., and lived in Benicia since 1964.

She worked as an administrator at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo for more than 23 years before retiring in 2001. Jeanetta was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Jeanetta is survived by her husband of 60 years,Troy; sons, Robert, David and Danny Hale; daughters, Susan (Jimmy) Adkins and Karen Anderson; sisters, Joyce Dula, Donna Smith and  Marilyn Hudson; brother, Robert Leroy Cheary; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday July 30, 2014, at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second St., Benicia, Calif., with Pastor George Ripley of Crossroads Christian Church in Vacaville officiating. Burial will follow in Sacramneto Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Calif., 95620.
