Jean Margaret Anderson was born in Flixton, Urmston, England. She was an artist, a seamstress, and homemaker who loved painting with watercolors, decorating her home, gardening, sewing, knitting, cross stitch, crossword puzzles and Jeopardy. She also loved volunteering her time and talents at her church, where she joyfully served on the altar guild for many years, making many of the lovely banners hanging in the church sanctuary. She was a faithful follower of Christ, saved by grace, who looked forward to her heavenly home when her earthly body failed her.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Barbara and Dennis Satterwhite, Debbie and Mike Smith, Pete and Sandy Anderson, Laurie and Brian Boulden, and Amanda and Kevin Moser; her twelve dearly loved grandchildren, Maria and Lee Satterwhite, Robyn (Mike) Jazuk, Elaine Smith, Robert, Matthew and Megan Boulden, Kellen, Corey, and Nick Anderson, and Hayden and Brynn Linville; four great-grandchildren, her brother David Collier; and her very special friend Cynthia Willner.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bob Anderson; her parents, Edward and Elsie Collier; and her sister, Barbara Wheldon.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2075 Dover Ave., Fairfield with interment to follow at Fairmont Memorial Park, 1901 Union Ave., Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to her favorite local charities Mission Solano, Habitat for Humanity, or the Salvation Army.
Arrangements by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield. www.bryanbraker.com.
