Pastor Isiah Thomas Robinson, 80, of Vacaville, passed away, Wednesday, Jan. 30, at home after a long illness. Pastor Robinson was born in Pine Bluff, Ark.
Isiah was owner and operator of Vacaville Saw and Tool Sharpening for 30 years, a general contractor for Robinson and Sons Construction for 30 years. Pastor Robinson was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Pastor of Rescue Mission COGIC of Vacaville for 25 years. Pastor Robinson enjoyed traveling and fishing.
Survivors left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 62 years, Serena R. Robinson of Vacaville; daughters, Rhonda L. Robinson of Vacaville, Vanessa Reames (Eddie) of Coolidge, Ariz, Annette Jeffery (Phillip), of El Sobrante, Calif., Janice Jones (Richard) of Vacaville and Denise Banayat (Richard) of Fairfield; sons, Dwayne Robinson (Amanda) of Vacaville, Kenneth Robinson of Vallejo, David Robinson of Arizona and Bryan Robinson of Winters, Calif.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Robinson in 1955 and his mother, Bessie Lee Robinson in 1989.
Visitation will be held 3 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo. The funeral service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Macedonia Church of God in Christ, 425 Walters Road, Fairfield, with Supt. Jeremiah Richardson officiating. Burial is private.
