Nov. 28, 1928 — March 12, 2013

Helen Marie Mack, 84, of Fairfield, passed away on March 12, 2013, surrounded by her family at NorthBay Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 28, 1928, in Kansas; the daughter of Alger Vanderburg  and Alvenia (Doane) Vanderburg.

She is survived by her sons, Emmett Lee (Sharon) Mack, Jr. of Napa and Earl (Carol) Mack of Fairfield; daughters, Susan Freitas of Fairfield, Carol Tenorio of Fairfield, Dorothey Donaldson of Fairfield, Helen (Scott Butler of Quinlan, TX); brothers, William, Danny, Eddie, and Johnny Vanderburg; sisters, Jeri Johnson, Deloris Weaver, Natalie Hembree; 30 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emmett Lee Mack Sr.; and daugther, Janice Mack.

A visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. An inurnment will be at Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Road, Napa.
