Feb. 17, 1923 — Dec. 17, 2012

In loving memory of our mom, Helen E. “Betty” Yancey.

She was born in Mountain View, Calif., on February 17, 1923. She passed away at the home of her oldest daughter, Barbara Ross, on December 17, 2012. Betty was a spunky 89 years old.

She was involved in the Eastern Star and her hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert G. Yancey. Together, they leave behind three children, Barbara Ross, Robert Yancey and Dawn Morrison; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

In her lifetime, she was a part of 3 five generations of family.

To our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, “You will be missed immensely and never forgotten!” All our love, your family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I'm so sorry for your loss at times like this are the hardest. I want to share a scripture that very encouraging. here at (Rev 21:4)- And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.So this scripture brings out that will be a time death will no more along with sadness.This will come to be here on earth. i give my condolences to the family.
