Reynolds

Aug. 13, 1939 – June 17, 2013

“Amazing Grace” went home this week to finally be with a truly loving Heavenly Father. Her pain is now spent, her heart is now renewed and her life of service is rewarded.

Grace was born in San Francisco. She dedicated many years of her life to service in the LDS church. Grace had a lifelong love of the outdoors and enjoyed working on genealogy. Grace earned two AA degrees from Solano Community College. In 2006 she retired from 19 years of employment with Kaiser Permanente.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, George Cook Reynolds; and her only brother, James Ernest MacAvoy. Survived by her children, Beth and Alan Wilcox, Ben and Shelley Bennett, and Julia and Shon Gallagher; and her grandchildren, Clark, Madelynn and her husband Adam, Tyler, Tanner, Meghan, Carter, Kendle, Kincaid, and Violet.

Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at the LDS Chapel, 2700 Camrose Drive, Fairfield, with services following. Interment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Missionary Fund.

Arrangements under the care of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 425-4697.

Dear Family, Your momma, "Amazing Grace", truly was an amazing woman! I loved her giggle and her fun loving spirit. I am so grateful for her influence in my life and in the lives of many others. She will truly be missed! Cindy Madsen Frame

I always enjoyed visiting with your Mother, and she would always mention one of her children or grandchildren, before our conversation would end. She loved her children and grandchildren. Wish we could be there Saturday, but we are away on vacation. My mother passed away last year, so I know there will be a empty space for each one of you.

Grace was a good friend, and we had many fun memories over the years. She always talked about her children and grandchildren with a smile on her face because they brought her great joy. Her optimism and love of life were part of her character. She will be missed.
