Glenda Josselson

Glenda Lynn Josselson passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, in Fairfield, Calif.

Glenda was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Memphis, Tenn. She resided in Fairfield, Calif., for 29 years.

She enjoyed skiing, playing tennis, listening to jazz music and playing card games with friends. She served in the Air Force as the first female security officer for 10 years. She completed a bachelor’s of arts degree at Sacramento State University before attending George Washington University Law School.

She is survived by her son, Mark Josselson; mother, Mary Peete; and sisters, Helen Card, Gloria Elkins and Ruth Brooks. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Clifton Malone Jr.

A military memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Calif. 95620.

Arrangements are under the care of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield, Calif. 94533.
