Glenda J. Thacker passed away on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. Glenda was born to Glen and Verena Pitcher at Englewood, CO. She attended schools in Vallejo, CA. She retired from civil service at Travis AFB after 31 years. She loved her family, friends and stayed in touch with all of them. She loved to sew, do crafts and gamble. She loved to spoil the children in the family and the ones who came to swim or visit.

Glenda is survived by her nieces, Lisa McKinnon (David) and Rene Rhoades; nephew, Jim Pitcher (Alysha); great-nieces, Dawnielle, Mallorie and Sienna; and great-nephews, Jeshua and Michael. Great, great-nephews and nieces; Tyler, Jayda, Jace, Alyssa, Michael and Dylan; grandmother, Mildred Shaffer of CO. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends that were very dear to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Dennis Murphy and Terry Thacker; and sister, Deanna Pitcher.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fairfield Funeral Home, 1750 Pennsylvania Ave., Fairfield. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at noon at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield.

She was a loving aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.
