Exa Marie Jackson, 99, of Fairfield passed away after a brief illness on October 19, 2012. She was born in Quitman, Texas, on August 27, 1913, to Ira and Lula Mansell.

Marie was a proud member of the Legion of Mary Auxiliary and Our Lady of Visitation at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Paul C. Jackson. She is survived by her son, Mark Jackson; daughter-in-law, Maureen Jackson; and granddaughter, Kyla Jackson.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 29, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Michael Downey on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1050 N. Texas St., Fairfield. Interment will follow at Fairmont Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to the care of McCune Garden Chapel, 707-448-6546, www.mccunechapel.com.
