Christine Jones Lord

Feb. 1, 1964 – Feb. 22, 2014

After a long illness, our beloved Chrissie passed away in her home in Fairfield.

She attended local schools and was working on a degree from Solano College. Christine worked many years in the health care field, but had to retire because of ill health.

Music and drama were her passions and she composed and recorded many songs in her home studio. She played the piano and guitar and was basically self-taught. She loved to get on her computer and make friends all over the world. She loved all things French and visited with friends and family in France and England.

Christine is survived by her mother, father, and brother, Hal, Nancy and Bill Jones;  aunt, Jane Gonzalez; cousins, Ann Truex and Pat, Tim, and Mike Lavery; aunt and uncle, Annie and Bernard Bastain; Mariette, Thierry, Maureen, Loic, Stephanie, Lola and Dorian, Virginie, Laurent, Ernie, Lana and Lev.

Christine was an avid animal lover. She rescued many animals and made them her own. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.

A memorial service for Christine will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St. in Fairfield, Calif. 94533.

Arrangements under the care of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 707-425-4697, www.bryanbraker.com.
