Charles Edward “Chuck” Travella II, 71, of Suisun City, passed away on the evening of Oct. 8 at his home.
He was born in Englewood, New Jersey, on April 11, 1942, to Charles Sr. and Evelyn Travella. Chuck was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked and retired from Namasco Steel as a traffic manager. Chuck was an amazing husband and father. He was a history buff, enjoyed listening to opera music and loved to dance.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, JoAnn; daughters and sons, Denise Cordero, Kim Travella, Marc Travella (Leonora), Charles Travella III (Catherine) and Christine Jarber (Larry); 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Buehler and Ruth Ann Haemmerle; and numerous extended family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Vaca Hills Chapel, 524 Elmira Road in Vacaville. Burial will follow at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery.
