Carolyn Teresa Michaud

May 10, 1942 – April 30, 2014

Carolyn Teresa Michaud was born May 10, 1942, in Lewiston, Maine, to Fern and Irene Michaud. She grew up in Lewiston, Maine, and relocated to California in 1964 to pursue teaching.

She was a retired grade school teacher and taught for more than 30 years in the California public school system. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, photography and camping with her late husband, Lou. She also enjoyed visits to her home on the mountain in Maine and camping with her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by brother, Robert Michaud of Bridgeton, Maine; niece, Eryn Michaud of Ketchum, Idaho; nephew, Marc Michaud of Provo, Utah; stepchildren, Michael Fleming, Eric Fleming and Mikki Hermosillo; grandchildren, Ashly, David, Mellanie, Melissa, Katlyn, Gabriel, Elise, Aidan, Israel, Moises, Ruben Fleming, Josiah and Amani Hermosillo;  great-grandchildren, Emily Gomez and Loralei Hermosillo, all residents of California.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis L. Fleming Jr.; and her parents, Irene and Fern.

The memorial of her life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St. Fairfield, Calif.
