Feb. 20, 1935 — March 27, 2013

Bonnie Jean (Letterman) Waugh passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Bonnie was born in Winnemucca, Nev. She spent her childhood in Reno, Nev. Bonnie permanently relocated to Fairfield to be closer to her family in March of 2009. She has been a resident of Parkway Plaza since moving back to California. Bonnie enjoyed her time and the many friendships she established at The Plaza.

Bonnie greatly enjoyed spending time with her friends at Parkway Plaza. She regularly played bunko and bingo and enjoyed taking the occasional trip to the casinos with other seniors. Fridays you might find her learning crafts in the rec. room. Her garden box has been planted in her honor to produce yummy vegetables this summer.

Bonnie spent many happy hours traveling with her husband, friends and family. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten!

Bonnie is survived by daughters, Laura (Ed) Robinson of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Lori (John) Brooks of Fairfield; sons, Richard (Jan) Howell of Fairfield, Ed (Sarah) Letterman of Salem, Ore., and Darrell (Cynthia) Letterman of Fairfield. She is also survived by 20 beloved grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Celia Mae Ranson; her husband, John Stepanovich; her husband, Melvin Howell; her husband, Edward Letterman; her husband, Derald Waugh; and her son, Robert Howell.

Please join us for a celebration of her life at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Fairfield Funeral Home, 1750 Pennsylvania Ave., Fairfield.

Arrangements are under the care of Fairfield Funeral Home, 1750 Pennsylvania Ave., Fairfield. 425-1041.
