Oct. 17, 1930 – Oct. 15, 2013

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Bobby Joe Mauldin, 82, passed away on Oct. 15, 2013.

Bobby grew up in Suisun Valley and called it home until 1964. He was born in Abernathy, Texas, on Oct. 17, 1930, to William and Millie (Moorhead) Mauldin. Bobby graduated from Armijo High School in 1949. He proudly served his country in the Korean War in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Dolly June (Rogers) of 62 years; children Millie, Sheryl, Roger (Teri); nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and sister Mayme Price (one of nine siblings).

A military interment will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Calif., with a reception to follow at the American Legion Hall at 1305 N. First St. Dixon. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the Armijo Alumni Association, P.O. Box 460, Fairfield, CA 94533-0045.
