Benjamin Sanchez

Nov. 18, 1925 – Feb. 9, 2014

Benjamin “Ben” Dela Cruz Sanchez was born in Manila, Philippines, on Nov. 18, 1925. He passed away at home on Feb. 9, 2014, at age 88.

He was a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo Church of Christ. He graduated from USF, worked as a medical technician at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco for 29 years and real estate broker since 1990, eventually of his own firm, LVM & Associates. He never retired.

Ben is survived by his wife of 47 years, Leonila “Lily” Reyes Sanchez; daughter, Sarena Grace; and grandsons, DeVonté T’Shawn and Dorian Izaiah.

Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, and Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. Memorial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014. Ben’s final resting place will be at All Souls Cemetery, 550 Glen Cove Road, Vallejo.
