Barbara Jean Fowler, 65, passed away November 10, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. She was a fighter ’til the end.  Barbara worked as a pawn broker for Lincoln Loan Co. for nearly 30 years, before moving to Fairfield in 2006 where she lived with her son and daughter-in-law and worked at Fairfield Pawn for the last three years before she retired.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Terri Heidenstrom and family of Sanford, Maine; her daughters, Patty Hessler and family of Vallejo, Elizabeth Nordlee and family of American Canyon and her son, Matthew Kelley and family of Fairfield. She is also survived by many other friends that were dear to her.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield.
