Anton John Kirichko, 71, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at David Grant Medical Center.

Anton was born April 30, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois (Cook County, Forest Park) to Anton Andrew and Wanda (Antonowicz) Kirichko. At the age of 18, Anton joined the US Army and served for 12 years and since became a member of Disabled American Veterans. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars in the RA armor division. His favorite pastimes were art history and watching Sumo wrestling.

Anton is survived by his brother, Alexander Michael Kirichko of Fairfield; sister, Martha Dallmeyer of Joliet, Illinois; and a cousin, Theresa McShane of Pompono, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents.

No formal services will be made per Anton’s wishes. He will be interred at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield, with his parents.
