June 20, 1930 — Jan. 18, 2014

Al passed away in his home of 46 years with his family at his side, while battling cancer. He was 83.

He grew up in Oakland, Calif., before moving to Suisun Valley. Al was a wonderful man, a caring husband and father. He loved his family more than anything and he loved life. His most cherished place was his home and property. He loved it and took great pride in caring for it.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janet; daughters, Sharon and Tracy; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen.

Services will at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Rockville Cemetery, 4219 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, Calif. 94534.
