Adam Taylor Simonds Ward, “Sonny,” 29, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013.
Adam graduated from Armijo High School in 2003. He worked for Finish Masters for a number of years. Adam was a passionate fan of the World Champion San Francisco Giants and the San Jose Sharks. He also learned a love of hunting from Brad, with whom he shared many a bounty.
Adam is survived by his parents, Tonie and Brad Simonds; his grandparents, Gilbert and Emma Jo Ramirez and Raymond and Anna Simonds; father, Craig Ward, Jr.; grandmother, Mae Ward; and brother, Brodie Ward. His extended family included Michael Stell and Jill Hopkins. In addition, over 150 aunts, uncles, and cousins will cherish their family memories of Adam.
Sonny was beloved by many friends who recognized his generous heart and loving spirit; he will be missed by them all.
A memorial will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Glashoff Farms, 5353 Williams Road, Fairfield. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear sports apparel in Giants orange and black, Sharks teal and black, or camouflage; all are also encouraged to carpool. No Dodger blue will be allowed.
